Holt BA Degree Requirements

Through the Hamilton Holt School, Rollins College extends quality education to students who prefer the flexibility of part- or full-time study and the convenience of late-afternoon, evening, and weekend classes. The courses and programs of study are designed to meet the interests and needs of professionals and other adult learners.

The Rollins College liberal arts curriculum is designed to develop and refine analytical and critical skills. Small classes permit an active learning experience stressing problem-solving and organizational abilities. Students learn how to express and defend reasoned points of view both orally and in writing.

Master’s degree programs available through the Hamilton Holt School are described in separate graduate publications.

Academic Requirements

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Arts degree, a student must complete all published degree requirements, in addition to courses outlined in at least one major. A student may fulfill the requirements specified in this catalog or any subsequent catalogs maintained and updated regularly on the College’s web site, while the student is continuously enrolled in the Hamilton Holt School. However, a student who ceases to attend for more than two years, will be required to follow the degree requirements in effect at the time of re-entry.

Statement of Responsibility

Students are responsible for knowing and meeting all degree requirements and academic regulations listed in the college catalog. Students should use Degree Works to assist with keeping informed about progress toward general education, major, minor, total credits and major/cumulative GPA requirements.  Questions concerning degree requirements and academic regulations should be addressed to the academic advisor or college registrar.
