Executive Doctorate Admissions Policy
All applicants must formally apply. Applications must be filed by the published deadline. Applicants must submit the following materials:
- Official Transcripts (from all colleges/universities where 15 or more college credits were earned)
- Essays (maximum of 1,000 words per statement)
- Essay 1 - Your reason for pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration
- Essay 2 - How do you plan to use the degree
- Essay 3 - How you will ensure your success in the program, including the support of your own organization
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Résumé
- No application fee required
The GMAT or GRE scores are not required for admission to the Executive Doctorate in Business Administration (EDBA) program.

Transcripts
If applicants are still enrolled in a degree-seeking program, they may send unofficial/official, incomplete (degree in progress) transcript to receive an admissions decision. If admitted, applicants will need to submit a final official transcript showing the degree has been awarded.
Information for International Applicants
International applicants seeking F-1 visas for full time-study are only eligible to apply to the Early Advantage program, Executive MBA, or Executive Doctorate in Business Administration programs. There are two parts to this application process.
Applicants must first formally apply. If applicants are admitted, they will then work directly with the Office of International Student and Scholar Services office, for processing of the I-20 form.
Applicants must submit scores from TOEFL or IELTS. The minimum requirement is a 100 on the TOEFL or 7 on the IELTS. If a degree program where English was the only medium of instruction, this requirement may be waived.
A “course-by-course” transcript evaluation (not translation) is required if the undergraduate degree was awarded by an institution outside of the United States. An evaluation can be obtained from a NACES-approved organization, such as Educational Perspectives, World Education Services, or Josef Silny & Associates Inc. If the transcript is evaluated by Josef Silny, an official cumulative grade point average report must also be requested and submitted.
