Statement of Purpose

Applicants need to write a detailed and carefully edited statement indicating their reasons for pursuing a graduate business degree, their reasons for choosing Crummer, and how these two decisions will combine to assure their professional and personal success. They should incorporate details of their academic and professional background, their strengths and challenges, and any unique aspects of their candidacy they want the Admissions Committee to consider.  The suggested length is between 500 and 1,000 words.

Recommendations

Letters of recommendation are requested and submitted through the application website.  All letters of Recommendation should be printed on letterhead with an original signature and include contact information for the recommender.  One confidential recommendation is required, two is preferred.  Please identify professional and/or academic supports who know you and can appraise your ability to pursue a graduate degree in this area.  Recommendation letters are confidential and will be received electronically via the online application.

Information for International Applicants

International applicants seeking F-1 visas for full time-study are only eligible to apply to the Early Advantage MBA, Executive MBA, or Executive Doctorate in Business programs.  There are two parts to this application process.

Applicants will first apply directly to the Crummer for admission.  If admitted, they will then work directly with our Office of International Student and Scholar Services office, for the processing of the I-20 form.

Applicants must submit scores from TOEFL iBT or IELTS. The minimum requirement is a 100 on the TOEFL or 7 on the IELTS. If a degree program where English was the only medium of instruction, this requirement may be waived.

A “course-by-course” transcript evaluation (not translation) is required if the undergraduate degree was awarded by an institution outside of the United States. An evaluation can be obtained from a NACES-approved organization, such as Educational Perspectives, World Education Services or Josef Silny & Associates Inc. If the transcript is evaluated by Josef Silny, an official cumulative grade point average report must also be requested and submitted.

Dual Enrollment

A student may not enroll in more than one graduate program at Rollins College. An applicant enrolled full-time in a graduate program at another institution of higher learning will not be admitted to a graduate program at Rollins College.

Graduate students may not enroll in undergraduate courses while they are enrolled in a graduate program without the written approval of the Associate Dean.  Undergraduate courses do not qualify for financial assistance and do not count toward the student’s graduate degree.
