PHI 325 - Philosophy of Law

Examines concept of constitutionality, “strict constructionism,” nature and limits of law, justification of punishment, judicial reasoning, capital punishment, legal responsibility (strict liability and the insanity defense), legislating morality, and paternalism. Prereq(s): Completion of one PHI course.
