PHY 205 - Stellar Evolution and Cosmology

Life cycles of stars including supernovae, white dwarves, neutron stars, and black holes. Characteristics of galaxies, red-shift and the Hubble relationship leading to modern models of cosmic evolution. Upper-level elective for science majors. Prereq(s): MAT 112 and PHY 121 or PHY 131.
