CPY 601 - Human Sexuality: Therapy, Counseling Theory and Techniques Credit(s): 3 A lifespan developmental approach is applied to the study of human sexuality. Medical and psycho-social aspects of sexual function are addressed. Course topics include physical, psychological, and social development; gender, sex-role orientation and preference; sex therapy theories and techniques; current sexual life-styles; sexual dysfunction; relationship issues; AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases; sexual deviance, rape, and incest; and family dysfunction. Prerequisite(s): CPY 530 or permission.
