INAF 200 - International Relations Credit(s): 4 This is an introductory course in international relations. Its main objectives are a) to examine and understand the international system - its main actors, basic elements like power, national interest and foreign policy process, dynamics and institutions; and b) to analyze some current substantive issues including the ‘new world order’. This being a very complex subject, emphasis will be placed on questions of war and peace, arms control, the North-South relations and future of the state and states system.
