LIT 243 - 19th and 20th Century French Novel Examines the major literary trends and ideas of the 19th and 20th centuries as defined by the classic works by Hugo, Flaubert, Zola, Proust, Gide, and Camus through novels and films. Novels in translation, films subtitled. Course taught in English.
