MGT 506 - Leadership and Strategic Influence

This course is Crummer’s foundation course in executive leadership growth and strategic influence, which contributes to the overall theme of the revised FLEX MBA program of “Your Leadership Journey: Growing in Business.” The course objective is to present and assess the elements of essential leadership and cross-functional business collaboration and how these foundations contribute to strategic leadership in business, with the intent to prepare rising professionals in the early stages of their careers. The course blends personal and professional leadership assessment and growth with exposure to various aspects of business functions. The purpose is to contribute to the students’ ability to lead effectively and collaborate with teammates of all specialties, while preparing students for the strategic implications of creating value, exhibiting executive presence and ethical behavior, in any given organization.
