SPN 346 - The Unexplainable: Fictions of Fear in Latin American Literature Studies the aesthetics and meaning of the unknown and fear in Latin American literature and culture. Examines the representations of the Gothic, Magical Realism, the Fantastic, Science Fiction, Marvelous Realism, and horror as presented through literature and other cultural manifestations in the Hispanic American world.
