CMS 380 - Simulation and Stochastic Modeling

Explores the use of probability theory and statistical methods in the development of computer simulations used to study/model real-world phenomenon. Topics include an overview of probability theory, a survey of common statistical distributions, random number generation, and techniques for creating models that incorporate randomness, such as queueing networks and Markov chains.
