ENV 330 - Women and the Environment Since colonial days, women have been important activists and leaders in the American environmental movement. This course will examine their roles, focusing on specific women such as Rachel Carson, Everglades defender Marjory Stoneman Douglas, and EPA Administrator Carol Browner, with an eye to Florida activism and the evolution of women’s status and environmental thinking into the 20th Century.
