PHY 230 - Modern Physics

Investigates 20th-century revelations about atoms and light, in contrast to the predictions of classical physics. Includes an in-depth quantitative analysis of Einstein’s theory of relativity, quantum theory, statistical distributions, and nuclear physics. Prereq(s): PHY 131.
