PSY 311 - CN: Remembering and Forgetting


Why do people remember certain events in their lives but forget others? This course examines our current understanding of human memory systems, phenomena, and theory by drawing insights from the fields of psychology, neuroscience, and computer science. Topics include information-processing, study strategies and mnemonics, false memories, and amnesias, among others.  Prereq(s): PSY 155
