MKT 501 - Marketing Management Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large. Marketing management-leading and managing the facets of marketing to improve individual, unit, and organizational performance-is a core business activity. Through the examination of key marketing plan elements such as segmentation analysis, target marketing, and positioning, as well as the influence of factors such as product design, supply chain variables, and pricing, this course provides the opportunity for students to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the critical role of marketing in successful organizations.
