PSY 690 - Internship I in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Credit(s): 2 Internship I provides students the opportunity to engage in a variety of clinical mental health counseling activities in an agency setting under clinical supervision of licensed practitioners. Interns are expected to demonstrate effective counseling skills based upon personal strengths, sound professional principles, and a personally defined philosophy and system of counseling. A grade of “B-” is required in PSY 690. Students who do not earn a minimum grade of “B-” on the second attempt of this course will not be allowed to continue in the program.
