ART 310 - Video Art: Gender & the Body

Offers advanced study of Video Art as a method of contemporary art practice. Considers the medium’s history coinciding with feminist, performance and conceptual art movements of the 1960’s to present day considerations of identity and representation. Basic image capture and editing techniques covered using DSLR cameras and Adobe Premiere. Suitable for majors and highly motivated non-majors.
