ANT 225 - North American Archaeology North American Archaeology surveys the continent’s pre-Columbian cultural groups and social landscapes from Paleoindians to European contact. Focused examinations of individual regions and time periods are used to engage broader theoretical issues including the peopling of the Americas, incipient social complexity, agricultural origins, cultural contact, and archaeological ethics.
