BUS 319 - Business Law and Ethics Credit(s): 4 This course introduces students to the legal and ethical environment of for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations in the United States. It assists students in identifying and analyzing ethical and legal issues, while giving students practical assignments and decision-making skills related to business. This course explores basic legal topics such as contracts, torts, constitutional law, alternative dispute resolution, types of business organizations, intellectual property, and employment law.
Prerequisite(s): MGT 101 and BUS 245 (minimum grade C)
