MGT 554 - Executive Leadership Foundations

This course instills the essential skills and perspectives necessary for high-level leader success. Students explore key leadership theories and frameworks, increase their ability to understand and display appropriate leadership behavior, and develop a foundational understanding of what it means to grow and serve as a leader of character. Emphasis is placed on cultivating a leader’s mindset, providing ethical stewardship for organizations, and driving strategies that contribute to value creation. Students come to better know themselves and others, understand the requirements of leading and building teams, refine their executive presence, and lead in a way that leaves a lasting impact on their profession, organization, and society.
