FRN 451 - French Poetry

Chronicles development of poetry from Middle Ages to present. Presents work by La Chanson de Roland, Ronsard, du Bellay, La Fontaine, Chenier, Hugo, Lamartine, de Vigny, Baudelaire, Verlaine, Mallarme, Apollinaire, Valery, Eluard, and Prevert. Prerequisite(s): completion of one 300-level French course. Course taught in Foreign Language.
