PHY 300 - Introduction to Thermodynamics

Examines the laws of thermodynamics, Maxwell’s relations, and illustrative applications of thermodynamics. Introduces kinetic theory, Boltzmann Equation, and statistical mechanics. Prerequisite(s): PHY 220.
