SOC 367 - Economy and Society Analyzes American economic institutions, particularly the modern corporation, and the modern state. Relates shifting patterns of production and consumption to structural changes in late industrial capitalism. Measures impact of multinational corporations on community, environment, workers, and U.S. foreign policy. Prerequisite(s): one SOC course or permission of instructor.
