BIO 429 - Immunology Investigates structure and function of immune system; concept of “self” vs. “foreign,” tolerance, and immunological memory. Focuses on host defense systems of mammals with emphasis on human adaptive and non-adaptive immunity. Also examines causes and effects of immune deficiencies. Prerequisite(s): Senior standing or instructor consent.
