Healthcare Management Major

Grounded in the liberal arts tradition of critical thinking, problem solving and interdisciplinarity,  the Healthcare Management undergraduate major is designed for Rollins graduates to be competitively educated and trained to function as entry health services managers and leaders. This major can be applicable to many areas of the healthcare industry including for profit and non-profit health organizations, government health organizations and  clinical services organizations such as hospitals and outpatient facilities. The curriculum is also designed to provide a foundation for graduate degrees such as the Master of Liberal Studies, Master of Health Services Administration, Master of Public Health, the Master of Applied Behavior Analysis and Clinical Sciences, Master of Health Counseling, Master of Business Administration and Master of Human Resource Management as well as other graduate programs that can be applied to the healthcare industry.  Majors must complete ten (10) required core courses (39 credits) and also select two major electives. This undergraduate major contributes to the Mission of Rollins by empowering graduates to be responsible leaders, have productive careers, and meaningful lives. The minor (6 courses) consists of two required courses, and four elective courses.
