Business Management Minor

Minor Requirements

The Business minor may be combined with almost any major (except Business Management, Social Entrepreneurship and Business, or International Business) to give the student a better understanding of the role of business in today’s world, current knowledge of business practices, and career-related skills.

Requirements for the Business Management minor are:

• seven (7) required business courses listed below (28 semester hours),
• MGT minors must earn a grade of C or better in the following courses: MGT 101 , BUS 230 , BUS 233 ,  BUS 236 , BUS 245 . If MGT major takes 3 or more courses in a specific subject, s/he can count this as a concentration. This is subject to Department Director approval.
• earn a minimum academic average of a 2.00 (‘C’) for all courses taken at Rollins and achieve a minimum academic average of a 2.00 (‘C’) for all courses taken to fulfill the minor requirements.

• MGT 101 - Introduction to Responsible Business Management (Grade of ‘C’ or better required)
• BUS 230 - Financial and Managerial Accounting (Grade of ‘C’ or better required)
• BUS 233 - Micro and Macro Economics (Grade of ‘C’ or better required)
• BUS 236 - Statistics for Business (Grade of ‘C’ or better required)
• BUS 245 - International Organizational Behavior (Grade of ‘C’ or better required)
• MGT 320 - Entrepreneurial and Corporate Finance
• MGT 330 - Entrepreneurial Marketing
