PSY 661 - Pre-Practicum II

This pre-practicum course introduces graduate counseling students to professional social justice and advocacy roles through service learning in community organizations and agencies.  Students are expected to participate in 100 hours of fieldwork experience during their second year in the program as partial fulfillment of predegree experience requirements for Florida licensure.  Students can begin Pre-Practicum II only after they have successfully completed PSY 660. Full-time track students enroll in this course in the summer term of their second year. Part-time track students enroll in this course in the summer term of their third year. The course is graded A-F. All students must successfully complete both PSY 660 and PSY 661 in order to register for PSY 680 Practicum Prerequisite(s)/Co-requisite(s): PSY 660 Pre-Practicum I
