FIN 603 - Security Analysis and Portfolio Management This course is designed to help students understand how security analysts use investment information to value global companies. Students learn the fundamental theories and practical applications of financial analysis for both equity and debt, using case assignments, class discussions, and projects. Students learn the principles of portfolio management for different individuals, institutions and countries and explore contemporary issues facing the investment profession. The class familiarizes students with commercial databases and professional software as they observe and evaluate portfolio management practice.
